Dr. Emomotimi Agama is the Director-General of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), where he leads Nigeria’s foremost capital market regulator with a forward-looking vision for transparency, innovation, and investor protection.

Under his leadership, the SEC has made major strides in promoting market modernization, including the development of frameworks for digital assets and fintech regulation. He is also widely recognized for addressing longstanding challenges around unclaimed dividends through strategic reforms in e-dividends.

With a rich background in finance and law, Dr. Agama continues to advocate for regulatory excellence and market inclusion, positioning the Nigerian capital market as a global investment destination.
